Terms of Use
Last updated: September 9, 2026
These terms cover the use of RepBooks, operated by ChairBooks LLC, a Nebraska limited liability company. Using the app means agreeing to them.
1. What the app is
RepBooks is a record-keeping tool for independent furniture sales reps. It stores what a rep enters and works out figures from it — mileage, profit, estimated tax and the rest.
2. It is not professional advice
The tax figures RepBooks produces are estimates worked out from the numbers a rep enters and the current federal rates. They are a starting point for a return, not a filing, and we are not accountants or tax advisers. Check anything that matters with a professional before you rely on it.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@chairbooks.com if you think someone else has access.
4. Your records are yours
The records you enter belong to you. You can export them at any time from the Tax prep screen (Money › Tax prep), and you can ask us to delete your account and everything in it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use RepBooks to break the law, to store someone else’s records without their permission, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will be available without interruption. Features may change as the product develops.
7. Liability
RepBooks is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, ChairBooks LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions taken on the basis of figures the app produced. Keep your own copies of anything you would be sorry to lose.
8. Ending it
You can stop using RepBooks at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Nebraska.
